My girlfriend just signed for mine and said she could barely get it up the stairs. This is going to be THE-LONGEST-DAY-EVER!

Congrats Nando!!!

I know I was shocked at the size of the box myself!! and it weighed in at 45 or 47 lbs! Enjoy!!1

Man, this iMac is so beautiful, that even though there is the exact same model right in front of me, I still look at the unboxing pics.

NICROMA, Shame ON YOU!

You should be ashamed of yourself....

For having a Wire on the table infront of such a wonderful wire-free product. Change the keyboard :D

Wonder pics, congratulations mate !:apple:

Hell no, why do I need a wireless? I don't need to go anywhere when I have this in front of me. LOL

Any heat problems

As you do the benchmarking, can you comment on any heat issues you notice?

Congrats man, it's the beast. Are you going to wall mount it. This in my opinion is the best looking iMac, though my Mom still loves the lamp iMac.

I can only comment on my i5 but after stress testing it quite extensively last night that I didn't notice any great heat issues. I ran my hand around the outter edge and foun it to be much cooler than I expected I noticed the left hand top edge was one of the warmer areas to the touch... CPU temps never went over 50 degrees C and fan seemed steady at 998. Those were just my observations.

wow, thanks - I missed that thread some how.

I have a noob question (I haven't been using OSX for more than 3 weeks) - but is there no 64-bit version of OS X? All the Geekbench results I'm seeing say 32-bit OS

Geekbench free version only runs 32-bit ...anything over that costs.
