So my friends have been working on this project of theirs for a while now. they have run into a road block. they are trying to install an xbox into the imac g3 "blueberry" shell. Along with this they want to attatch the xbox to the monitor thus naming it the ibox. they plugged the display into the xbox and the screen wont start  did they break the screen...no! they plugged the old mac motherboard in and it booted up just fine. any help/ solutions for this problem??? thank you so much:apple:

i am sorry i can't help you, but there might be part of the screen controls they are bypassing by trying to plug the xbox in? I really don't know, but it seems that perhaps there is a starting component that it might need elsewhere? i am clueless...

more importantly though... i would like to tell your friends that I like their thinkin' ibox. awesome. ... although hopefully you will be able to set it up to also plug into an external tv... the imac is sorta tiny.
