The impatience game...please tell me Apple ships early!

I took the plunge and ordered an iPhone 4...but the wait is killing me!

*Sigh* My order doesn't ship until Aug. 2nd....growing more impatient by the day...

I've always heard they might ship it before the date listed but tell me, everyone, does Apple ever really ship early???

Apple usually does ship quicker than the dates given when you order, but due to the demand of the iPhone 4, it might really be August 2nd.

Yes they do.

My estimated Shipping date was 21st July and estimated Delivery date was 29th July

My phone came earlier today (22nd July)

I placed my order on the 30th June.

Well so far ever phone they're building is already sold, and they can't produce them any faster.

I just ordered mine online today too.

Ships: Aug 12
Delivers: Aug 17

I really hope it ships sooner than that!
