I did a small dinner party last night and it had been awhile since I had done any serious cooking. I can't believe how valuable having the iPad was. Using Epicurious and the Internet, I was constantly looking things up, even though I had the printed recipes I was using for the dinner. Example, if you don't like how a sauce is turning out that the recipe calls for, you can quickly find a new one. If you find something odd about the recipe you, like the temperature or cooking time seem off, you can quickly cross reference other like recipes to see what they call for.
I have the Apple case which the cover turns over and places the iPad at an angle for easier typing. Plus it wipes clean with a sponge. If this thing was invented for nothing more than cooking, it would be a great invention. I love it.
