No this isn't as poncy as the the thread title makes it out to be.
For media studies, we have to write a 5k word essay analysing the environmental footprint of a media consumption device. I chose the iPad because well, my lecturer is a bit of an Apple fanatic.
Anyway, does anybody know if there is a standards board or environmental group who have an ideal environmental footprint set for a consumer device? Having something to compare the iPad against would make it a lot easier. I've spent that last hour looking on the internet and in the library database but I can't find anything.
