I just thought I should take a screenshot of this incredible moment - the iPad forums has, for the first time, exceeded the iPhone forums in popularity.

Hail the revolution!

Release day vs what 9 months since last refresh, not a fair comparison.

Wait 3 months and see what's higher.

I'm sure this is due to the initial launch, and the craze that is the Internet... give it a few weeks and it'll level out :)

Well if you follow that (flawed) logic, then Justin Bieber is more popular than the Beatles because he sold more albums this month than they did.

if you didnt hear, the ipad didnt have anywhere NEAR the rush the iphone did

Actually, the iPad had several times the preorders of the iPhone. I guess people are finally realizing that lining up for something is pointless when you can order it and get it shipped to you the same day.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the iPhone sold as first come, first served, with no pre-orders? Meaning there's no comparison possible in that respect.

And to the poster with the Justin Bieber vs Beatles reference, that was golden.

For retail stores, yes, but the iPhone was able to be pre-ordered online as well, and the iPad received several times more pre-orders than the iPhone.
