...at least that is what this random anon on twitter seems to believe.

I think the 2,775 mAh will be destined for the 5.4", the 3,687 mAh for the 6.1", and a yet-to-be-leaked 4,400+ mAh will find its place in the 6.7". I don't know why the 2,227 mAh was thrown into the mix, but perhaps it's meant for another device entirely. Maybe a more souped-up variant of the SE? Who knows.

It can be true. But smaller batteries will be for non-pro models.
Putting battery from X/XS to smaller device than SE ? No.

Potentially. This would make a lot of sense (and a lot more sense esp with 5G) but these phones are also getting thinner so remains to be seen.


the thing is, this twitter user has 31 followers and has UFO sightings in his/her twitter account profile as a stated interest.

also the schematics he drew up speculating if a certain size battery could fit in a certain size case completely disregards the space that is set aside by engineers to account for battery swelling so components don’t puncture it and explode the battery. This is something Apple engineers particularly focus on.
