A few months back, I bought a Sony PSPGo. I jail broke my iphone and tried to tether it with the PSP. To my dismay, even with MyWi, the PSP was unable to connect to the iphone due to problems with the ad hoc networking (or inability to create an ad hoc connection).

So with the ipad on the horizon, wouldn't it be very easy for Apply to prevent ad hoc connections similar to the PSP and thus prevent all tethering to it period?

Its a known problem and is reasonably well documented if you google it. There's some way the PSP is set up which causes MyWi not to work with it. AFAIK its about the only device out there which doesn't work with MyWi.

Thats good to know since I dont have a PSP :D
Everything I tried including netbooks, laptops etc.. have connected while using Mywi with no probs.
