iPhone s going to be great. i love the product but, its exactly that a product, one product should not be the focus of the entire company, i feel everything is taking back seat. i know that iphone deserves its time in the lime light, but it would be great if apple could save a little space on there home page for something computer related?

They always go nuts with the launch of new products. Nearly everything on their homepage will be about Leopard when it comes out.

They haven't forgotten about the other things - not by a long shot. But the iPhone is huge - its going to (hopefully) catapult their profits to entirely new levels, so its only natural that they'd be excited about it.

Guy -- Apple is an awesome company. This is their new product. They are just as excited to get it out there as well as many, many, many people are excited to receive it.

Apple is always enhancing their website to suit the consumer's needs. If you need computer information, click the new "Mac" button atop the website, and find the other products you deem unworthy of attention at this time.

They just want as much public awareness and hype for their entry into a new market. We have new iMacs coming soon, Leopard in October, Safari 3 Beta, and new Macbook Pros just came out.

Five years waiting, three days to go...not so surprising!

yeh i guess. i really hope they update the uk site with some iphone info..(and the new look) soonish, i want a more accurate launch date, like atleast what month its going to hit the united kingdom. look at apple.com/uk in comparisin to apple.com soo different, nothing iphone related in the uk at all, wheres the happy medium? :(

who cares about a homepage?? The iPhone is a rumor for more than years and that's why the hype is so big, they have always don computers but mobiles, except from the Motorola (that wasn't a succes) is the first time. But i hope after the iPhone hype there will come a new iMac in Paris maybe?

isn't this just like steve's other company...Pixar?..
their rev based on the gross of ONE film.
