Hi Macrumorites,
Just a friendly reminder to you all to do a backup for July!

This comes from my work was broken into last week and four laptops went (only one mac thank goodness), and all were full of data that hadn't been backed up for months. For the scientists involved this was of course quite crippling and they all wish they'd taken the few minutes to burn a DVD or CD.

So do it now :D!

Thanks. I backup up my PowerBook last week, but haven't backed up the iMac in ages and now the logic board is fried :(

Backing up is cool... ;)

I'm in the (slow) process of migrating my data from my old iBook to my new MacBook, and in that process I've made sure I have numerous backups of all my data.

The only thing I'm missing now is SilverKeeper or similar on my MacBook. Any of the free backup solutions for Intel Macs out there that anyone can recommend? :)

I'm sorry to hear that... :(

But, at least your data should be safe, just get a nice looking enclosure for the HD... :)
