The Last 4K (21-inch) Intel iMac?

Hello all,

I'm curious to know if my 2019 4K (21-inch) iMac is likely the last Intel CPU update for this size? I think the answer is 'yes' based on the purchasing options on the Apple store but just wanted to check with you guys.

I know Apple updated to 10th Gen Intel CPUs for the 5K 27-inch in the autumn of 2020, but, I'm unaware of any CPU updates to the 4K 21-inch.

Yes, yours is the most recent revision of that model. It's also likely the last Intel version. It may even be the last of that size with rumors of a 23/24 inch replacement.

Not just the last Intel model but the last imac with 21" as well
Rumours are suggesting we will get 23-24"
But, yes, bottom line, i think too this will be the last Intel imac for this size....and the last year 27" will be the last as well
It seems Apple will still keep updating the current Mac Pro with intel and thats all, the new mac pro design and the rest of macs will all go with Apple arm SoC

Why are you asking? you want a new imac with Intel?

I feel ridiculous saying this but I only opted for a maxed out GPU because it was available. I'm quite certain I do not take advantage of it.
