The location services for reminders uses like no battery

How did they manage that? I've had it on for the last hour and seen no change in battery usage over the regular.

yeah its been on this whole time and I set one up to go off when i left my house, walked down the block it came up and its still up there.

It passively monitors your general location with cell tower triangulation until you near your destination. Only then does GPS go active.
