the magnetic car mount's magnet way too strong, when removing iPhone, the back glass ripped off and was left with a big 2-inch round hole

how is this even possible?

You didn’t read the description of the video.

1. The glass back was already cracked.

2. It was a Gun magnet which I use for firearms and not iPhones.
They are neodymium magnets. I can use it hold a 6 lb Shotgun on the back of my bedroom door not a iPhone.
Just like a MagSafe magnet won’t hold a 6 lb Shotgun.

So on a iPhone with a cracked glass back placed on a neodymium gun magnet could rip it off.

I was watching it from an app that blocked all YouTube ads, comments, replies, even dates..... just looked at it from a regular YouTube app and it more sense to me. :)

Even removing a Shotgun off a gun magnet that’s screwed into a door or wall takes quite a bit force. I wouldn’t be surprised if would rip the glass off a iPhone that wasn’t cracked.
