So I'm in panama city beach and some off the restaurants I looked up. And a lot of them are misplaced so I had to ask around to find it wth. What apple dosent update the maps???

Apple is not in the business for updating maps. Are you sure you have good GPS service? Are you using cell tower triangulation?

Try another app to see if you get the same results.

The Maps app is powered by Google Maps, I always download Mapquest and a few others as well since Google maps isn't always 100% accurate.

Ohh ok I'm going to get a diff app then see how it goes. Because over satellite I noticed it hasn't been updated atleast 5 years

Some of GoogleMaps results do not place the pin in the correct spot. I always call to verify the street and location.

One thing I miss from the Droid is the street view I used to verify it.

+1 for Mapquest. I relied on it a couple of times last weekend when shuttling a bunch of guests around Dallas. It worked like a charm and saved my butt. :D
