I Google around and checked Apple site for the technical details but couldn’t find if it was a 10 bit panel. I check the keynote from last year and they mentioned a bunch of specs about the MiniLED screen but didn’t touch on wether it was 8 bit or 10 bit panel.

The Pro Display XDR and the new 14” and 16” MacBook Pro’s all have 10 bit panels. I Googled the differences and 10-bit panel can display over 1 Billion colors while an 8 bit panel can show around 16 Million. 10 bit can also handle gradient better which is an important part of picture quality. It helps deliver better details in the shadows and minimizes banding, especially when watching HDR content. Kind of bummed about this.

Basically you are aware of this now, because you Googled it.
Below are some links, just in case:

What I did not get from your post is:
Do you own an iPad pro or are you purely looking at the specs?

- If you own one: Most people can not (or barely) see the difference between an 8 bit mini led display and a 10 bit mini led display. Can you and are you dissappointed for that reason?
- If you don't own an iPad pro now and purely Googled for the specs, no harm is done. Why being bummed about this?

There is no proof of what bit display it is so I’m confused on where the concern is coming from. Are you unhappy with the picture quality? Are you doing color-critical work and has it impacted your workflow?

You mad about something you couldn't even notice on your own? Y'all weird, lol.

Don't get me wrong, a 10 bit panel is ABSOLUTELY better than an 8 bit one, but you're clearly not engaged in a workflow or even a consumption flow where that negative can impact your enjoyment.
