I uploaded some photos the other day to my MobileMe Gallery and then viewed them online just to see what it would be like for other people to see them. Well, the experience wasn't that great I have to admit. The Gallery is really slow compared with the me.com Web App.
The ease of use of the me.com Web App is so much better over the MobileMe Gallery usability.

So, I think Apple should renew the Gallery service to make it a little snappier. I also think they should make browsing Gallerys on the iPhone/iPod touch better.

Do you have the same feeling?

Ams.

I think they should start making mobile me galleries available on the iPhone in the first place.

Still a relatively new service I suppose which is why there may be a difference. I'm sure Apple will continue to update it on a regular basis and this may be one of the improvements made. Still have to say that the mobileme gallery is superior to a lot of services out there...

MobileMe Gallery has always been available on iPhone (and iPod touch).

Just go to the website as normal. Safari will open the page in an iPhone OS friendly view.

You can also upload photos from the Photos application on the iPhone/iPod touch.

The only problem with uploading photos from the device is that you can only upload to an existing album. There should be an option to create a new album and view/change it's settings.
