....is that they managed to keep the thing from leaking before the keynote. All the silly modular rumors had us spinning for a long while.

Impressive, really.
 
I’m also amazed how well guarded they managed to keep it. I didn’t see a single leak.

I'd be fairly certain there is a test model inside an MP4,1/5,1 shell out in the wild somewhere.

Believe the MP6,1 was final assembled in USA/Texas? That barely leaked either. If MP7,1 is also being at least assembled in the USA, signs point to a tighter control of supply chain in the USA.
 
In the end it is just a tower with MACOS support, not a revolution.

The only "breakthrough" is the "fan-less" GPUs.

MPX GPU slots tho are neat, and it really looks beautifully engineered.
i'm impressed. i don't need one from audio nor could i justify getting one, but dang, i'd love to have one to toy with. maybe in a few years when prices come down
