Where its way too hot.
When I first saw it posted on the web I thought, this looks awful and I'm going to hate it compared to the previous keyboard. I have to say, I have used it for almost 2 months now and I'm loving everything about it. Best keyboard I've ever had and I've had quite a few.

I hate it. I went today and bought the old version. I'm going to go buy another one just so I have a backup in a couple years when this one starts wearing out.

Yes, I've used mine, for two months now, and it is fine. I liked getting a "new feel." It helped make it feel more like a new computer (which it was) than using the same old Pro keyboard.

Keyboard questions

Hey there.

Have either of you played many games with the keyboard? How does it hold up?

Also, have either of you had to sit down and type on it for 8 hours? Big papers or reports?

Just wondering. I am using a Logitech keyboard right now, and am very happy, but if the new Aluminum keyboard is awesome, I might have to give one a try.

I love the new aluminum keyboard although it is so different than anything I've ever used before that it took some getting used to at first. I was using the Logitech S530 desktop and now I am just using the Logitech mouse with the aluminum keyboard. I couldn't imagine going back to the Logitech keyboard now I'm so used to the aluminum.

I play Counterstrike: Source and Bioshock with this keyboard with no issues at all.

Hey I did the same thing as you:D!!! Had the Logitech S530 set, and I wen't to the Apple store this Thursday to get a keyboard for my birthday. It types amazing and is beautifully small!!!! I now use the Logitech Mouse (MX600) that came with S530 and the keyboard, although I didn't put the receiver in the keyboard because that looks terrible:mad:. I ain't gonna put things in the keyboard USB ports because that will ruin it looks.

1 thing tho, the right side of the keyboard easily slips away when I put pressure on the arrow keys. Isn't happening at the left side of the keyboard. Anyone have this problem?

I know exactly how you feel. I was so convinced I would hate it, that I went out and bought a backup of the old-style wireless apple keyboard so that I would have one in the event I got a new mac!

I immediately fell in love with the new keyboard when I got my 24" imac. After a couple days of using it, I felt like I could type so much faster on it, more accurately, etc.. Now I want to get a couple for work!
