Now, before I take a flaming for this - I know there is no app store for the ATV, and there might not ever be one... that said.

I want a high quality VNC-type app for the ATV. I like being able to stream a video file from my mac to the ATV - that is a cool feature, but imagine if you could use the ATV to duplicate or extend your laptop screen to the TV wirelessly. I imagine there might be a bandwidth problem here, but it would be great if, for example, I could walk into a conference room, startup my keynote, and say, send to the apple tv, connected to this projector.... all without wires...

Thoughts? Is there a technical reason this might not be feasible?

EDIT - I suppose these could be two seperate features, the Keynote and the VNC - I just thought VNC might be the most universal way to make it happen....

Well, if it works on an iPhone (e.g. iTeleport) then there is no technical reason why it can't work on the ATV, it just needs an App Store... over to you Apple....
