Right, I just finished watching the Apple event on iTunes and I pre-ordered the new iPad. But nowhere in the presentation nor on the store could I find its name. Is it just "the new iPad"? The "iPad"? WTF, Apple... forgot to name the stuff?

Its just "iPad". They are only refering to it as "The New iPad" because its the new one.
Its a great move and its stops everyone moaning about an a revised product not being a "real upgrade"

I thought it was a "real upgrade", aside from design, everything else on it is improved and upgraded, I mean a quad-core CPU would have been a lobster and butter, but it didn't happen, but still a big upgrade.
Ahh don't worry I'm in the camp that think any change is a real upgrade I was talking about a select few who can't help but moan.

in my opinion the name is just ipad or 3rd gen ipad but not the new ipad !!
mayb its a good idea like for example imac 2011 model or mackbook mid 2010 so this is ipad 2012 model or just IPAD

I really don't understand why people are having so many problems with this concept. The iPad is now just... the iPad. Exactly the same as the iMac, Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPod Shuffle, Mac Mini and Mac Pro. As it should be IMO.
One other thing, while the iPad 2 might be labelled as such on the device I think I'm right in saying that the box has always just said iPad (at least on the sides).
