Hey

With the new mac mini, does anyone know if it would be possible to play a music video (with the mini attatched to an LCD) and have the audio streaming through 2 or more express's?

Reason I ask is I currently have a phillips stremium attatched to an LCD in my Pool room, which is great, but I also have 3 Apple Express's throughout the house for audio

It would be amazing if I could stream a video to the LCD and have the audio from the video being streamed around the house (Via the expresses)?

Many Thanks

Wasn't there a University in the States that decided not to pump out Wifi because of the Cancer risk?

After all the microwaves, cell phones, walkie-talkies, terrestrial radio, satellite dishes, TV broadcasts, RFID tags, etc, I really doubt a little wifi's going to make a difference.

Yeah but i wanna stream audio from a music video....
All audio from iTunes should be directed from a sound stream. iTunes keeps playing video after you close the video window. It's just audio then.

I read about that too - It was a Canadian school. I forget the name; I think it was in Quebec though.

VLC is free and if you already have the Airport equipment it's just a wizard and a little network knowledge away from being done.

Ok, I'll do some bandwidth tests at home tomorrow. I should be able to get 3 Macs on my network. All VLC capable and two on wireless.
