the new mac pro

hey all,

ive been reading trough the spec of the new mac pro, but there is no raid card in the config options.

can anyone tell me if the new mac pro has built in raid support.

Apple has removed that as a factory installed option. The only way to do it now is picking up a card used, or using the basic software RAID options in Disk Utility.
RAID cards add complexity, and Apple hates that, so they decided it's better if Pro's don't have that anymore to make things easier.
