The New Macbook Air Release date: November 4

Ok so I know the new Macbook Airs will be released in early November. I ordered one on the apple store website and this is the information that I get from my order confirmation.

$2,299.00
Ships: Nov 5
Delivers:Nov 6

I know apple store updates are done on Tuesday. So that leaves me to believe that the release date is November 4, 2008.

BTW: The price $2,299.00 is from the apple education store. Normal retail is $2,499.00 for the SSD model.

Im happy for you.

You got the top of the range MBA for $2450. Thats about equavilent to around 1300 pounds.

But in the UK the price of MBA is way higher for the top spec. ITs about 400/500 pounds more expensive.

yea I ordered mine as well. says I'll get it on the 10th but thats five days after it ships Im sure itll be a lil shorter than that maybe 3-4 days at max
