The new USB restore key ?

Does anyone know or think the new USB restore key would work with the previous gen Air ? I lost my restore CDs and was wondering if one of these would work on it.

I imagine that, like the standard restore DVDs supplied, it'll work on the exact hardware it ships with only. So no it won't work on a previous generation Air.

If you call AppleCare they will ship you replacement restore DVDs for your existing Air for a very reasonable cost (usually about $25).

Or just go out and buy Snow Leopard and be able to use it on whatever computer you want.
