The notification center bothers me

Why can I choose only to show 1, 5 or 10 messages in the notification center? The difference between 1 and 5 is rather big, since 5 notifications often take up more space than the screen size...

In my opinion, it would be better to offer 1, 3 or 5 instead of 1, 5 and 10.

I agree, I have a breaking news app I use and I like to see the last few notifications from it, but 5 takes up the whole initial view of the notification centre on my phone, and 1 isn't enough. I would love the option for 3 at least.

Yep. You raise a good point. Never really paid attention to this, but I agree the "3" option is an excellent idea.

It should just give you an option of 1-10. Not sure how thats any harder to code.

I tried to like notification center but I hate it and never use it. The banner notifications are almost always intrusive for me as well. It was a noble try, and I know a lot of people like NC, but if you asked me I would tell you I think the notification system is STILL in dire need of an overhaul.
