Has anyone found really good bag for carrying your Macbook Air.

A sleeve or slim case is too small to carry any accessories ... they're more designed to fit in a backpack or another bag but I'm looking to travel lighter than that.

Many of the 13" bags I've looked at far too big, the little Air gets lost inside, lol.

The ideal bag for would be one that has a little padding to hold the MBA securely and enough room to carry power cord, usb hub, a paper notebook, wallet, ipod, iphone and any other gadgets ... all in a small form factor.

Something small enough to carry everywhere, I like a bag with a handle as well as a shoulder strap, shoulder strap. I looked at the Eagle Creek "Vagabond" bag ... it's a possibility but I'm not quite sure yet, it may not be wide enough to carry everything .... you can check it out here > http://eaglecreek.com/bags_luggage/carry-on_companions/Vagabond-40483/

Some vertical bags look nice, easy to carry, but most I've seen are over padded, bulky and stiff.

I'd like something small, light with just enough room for your notebook and a separate comparment or two for the essentials you need to carry around in a day. More like a City Bag, or Day Bag that also fits the MBA.

Messenger bags, medium size are alright, like from TimBuk2 but I'm not a fan of "flap over" bags, every time you want to access your case you have to flip open the flap, in the case of TimBuk2 they have 6" of heavy duty velcro on there so you can hear the rrrrrrip from the velcro 30 feel away, lol.

Top zip bags are ideal, easy access to compartments, but it's hard to find something the perfect size .....

Post some photo's of your gear bag, would be cool to see what everyone is using as their day/mba bags...

Thanks!

The Perfect Bag for your MacBook Air

I travel 35 weeks out of the year and the MacBook Air is my everyday computer. I have tried many many bags over the years and the best bar none is the Tom Bihn Smart Alec. I used this bag with my MBP before getting a Rev B MBA. The only thing is the Brain Cell for the MBA is overkill. It takes up way too much space in the otherwise spartan bag. My solution was to purchase a Waterfield Sleeve and sew two pieces of webbing to the back to attach it to the bag. Now I have the perfect setup. If anyone needs details on how I did this or photos of the modification (It is not rocket science). Let me know.
