I made this case with a cigar box and some foam and it works perfect. I put some stickers on and i love it.

It doesnt move around at all when shut, and it feels very solid.:cool:
 
Well it's only free assuming you have a cigar box lying around. No one in my family smokes cigaretts, much less smokes cigars. Looks pretty cool, though
 
I love original ideas like this. That is very awesome dude. Can i ask what sticker is that skull one?

Hope they were good cigars cause I'm sure your iPad smells like them now :D

One thought, could you put some foam on the sides of the cigar box to ensure the top and bottom of iPad doesn't get scratched up? How tight is the fit from the cigar box front and back of inside on sides of iPad?

Have any extra cigar boxes like that? Would you send me one if I paypal you the shipping?

Dude I have ********s of cigar boxes. Would have to see if I have one that first iPad though.

Let me look and see what I have. I'm in toronto so shipping would be a bit more, but having a Cuban cigar box would be a lot rarer than the alternatives.

I will get back to you tomorrow. Let me check and see what I have that will fit iPad.
 
Most Cigar shops will have plenty of boxes to either give away or if they do charge it is usually only a few bucks.

Definite points for creativity & ingenuity. However, the latch looks a little iffy--you might want to be careful that it doesn't pop open and spill your ipad out onto the concrete. :eek:

Cigar shops will give away boxes. My aunt uses them in art projects and gets them that way.
