The game is The Price is Right.

Maybe you have to love watching the game show to love this, but this is one really fun game. Aside from the slight sluggishness, it's a very awesome game. I also haven't had the crash issues that people put on the reviews for the game at the App Store (restart your phone like the developer said).

Oh yeah, that game...we all know it of course ;)

Although I have to admit the name of the game eludes me at this moment :p

The OP is right. In terms of production value this is IMO the BEST iPhone app out there. Presentation is amazing. In terms of gameplay, it's basically a whole bunch of mini games, but it's mini games most of us grew up on. You can play Plinko, the game with the mountain climber, you spin the wheel, you play the showcase showdown. It's all there.

If this game has a negative, it's not a quick play. A game is probably a good 20 or so minutes, but some screens are skippable.

It doesn't have wifi or anything but multiplayer (on the same iPhone) is a blast. You can bid against your friends etc...

This is a seriously polished game that is fun to play both solo and multiplayer.

For those still wondering the OP is referring to a game named The Price is Right that is based upon the TV game show of the same name.

I didn't get it myself at first read so please keep your "thank you Captain Obvious" remarks to yourselves! ;)

While I still don't understand how people didn't see the name when clicking in it on the thread title, I have helped the Subject Reading Challenged with an edit. :)

I am curious if this game runs faster on the new iPod touch. There's a bit of loading between games, but nothing like the old school CD-based consoles (hi, PlayStation) or CD-ROM only games (nothing installed on HDD).

To the person who said Fieldrunners is the best, that makes me want to try it out. TPIR just set the bar so high in its genre on the iPhone. Hopefully, the same developers can take a swing at Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, as well as some older ones like Press Your Luck (with some updated Whammies).

I agree. This is definitely my favorite game right now. If only Bob Barker were on it...

Seriously Fieldrunners is the best $5 game hands down.

This one speaks the truth. Fieldrunners is very addicting, much replay value & with the latest updates IMO make it the best game app for 5 bucks.
