Well. In middle school we had Macs. Maybe G3's or something. I can't recall and didn't know one computer from the other. Then I went to college and we also had iMacs. The ones with the screen attached to the base. I though they were awesome. A girl I worked with also had an iBook. One of my lifelong friends also has owned nothing but Macs and swears by them. I figured I'd see what all the buzz was about.
I've been reading these boards for quite some time. I also visited an Apple Store and the Macbook's just had my name all over them. I did my research, saved my money and took the dive.
I love the organization and simplicity of everything. It reflects my personality. So far it's great but I'm only a few hours in. It is a little difficult to get used to the windows not being full screen and also I keep forgetting I have to quit applications not just X them out. Mac OS X is great. I definitely don't miss all the viruses and spyware on Windows. All in all a successful conversion and a perfect Macbook.
