I figured I would do the normal thing and post about my acquisition of a Macbook (white, mid-level). It's great so far. Bought it a few hours ago.

Congrats! I switched to Mac with the same machine just two weeks ago. It's a dream. Keep us posted. :)

Well. In middle school we had Macs. Maybe G3's or something. I can't recall and didn't know one computer from the other. Then I went to college and we also had iMacs. The ones with the screen attached to the base. I thought they were awesome. A girl I worked with also had an iBook. One of my lifelong friends has also owned nothing but Macs including a Macbook and swears by them. I figured I'd see what all the buzz was about.

I've been reading these boards for quite some time. I also visited an Apple Store and the Macbook's just had my name all over them. I did my research, saved my money and took the dive.

I love the organization and simplicity of everything. It reflects my personality. So far it's great but I'm only a few hours in. It is a little difficult to get used to the windows not being full screen and also I keep forgetting I have to quit applications not just X them out. Mac OS X is great. I definitely don't miss all the viruses and spyware on Windows. All in all a successful conversion and a perfect Macbook.

Sound a lot like me!

I know it feels weird tomorrow, but it honestly doesn't take more than a day or two to adapt to everything.

I apologize. I can't put up any picures. I lost the digital camera I had and the only other camera I have is on my phone and it's only a 2-mp. I also don't have a card reader unless there is another way to get them up. Besides, it looks like every other white Macbook except...it's MINE!:D
