The Rev. B is faster then the Rev. C??

I bought this latest one not only because the price drop, but Apple claims on their website that this latest one is "6 Times Faster." Revision B was only 4 times faster. If Macworld's tests show it is slower in almost every test, including the GPU test in terms of frame rates for video and games, then why is Apple misleading customers about the 2.13 MBA's performance? Will Apple respond to this? I really thought I was purchasing one of the most powerful and thinnest laptops out there... It's my fault for jumping the gun on my purchase, so I am to blame, but I really believed I was getting the best MBA in term's of performance because of Apple's claim on their website.

1. Funny you picked one of the few tests that revision C performed better in.
2. There are at least 2 other threads about this, one in this forum and another in News.
3. User reports, as well as XBench and GeekBench scores, show revision C to perform better (although not dramatically so) on tasks like HD movie playback.

Okay. So do you think Apple could release an update to allow the new Air to run a bit faster? Similar to the update they released for the SATA drives on the MacBook Pros.

That sata update didnt do anything for people with the regular hdd only ssds

the SATA update thing didn't contribute to anything (if any at all) due to two things:
i. the Samsund SSD is no where fast enough to saturate SATA1 specification
ii. MBA rev. C was not affected in the WWDC spec bump, the rev.C showed 3.0Gbps all the way

They meant 6x faster from Rev A, not Rev B.
