Graphics card: RX580 8GB Video Card
CPU: 2 x 2.4ghz
OS: 10.15.3.
There will be no signal on the screen during use, and the screen will be black. Even if it is turned on and nothing is done, it may happen at any time, but the time of occurrence is uncertain, which is very troublesome at present.
My friend lent me a graphics card with RX590 that has not changed the firmware. It worked normally for eight hours, during which time World of Warcraft was turned on and it was running at full speed. My original RX580 was installed on the PC for testing. There was no problem with both machines during this period. Could someone please tell me? Are you in the same situation as me? Can you share the experience with me, thank you

If I fit my RX580 4GB into the PCIe slot & connect my screens (dual DP 1.4) output is fine and constant. However the card seems to sit kind of high (the ports line up with the slot at the back & are all accessible but are slightly squint). BUT if I fasten my card in using the cMP aluminium PCIe bracket with the two captive knurled screws - sorry I don't know the name, this piece...

...then the card is placed under some physical tension and both outputs cut out. Possibly due to some kind of intermittent connection with some of the pins in the PCIe connector or some internal issue? I've not done extensive fault finding as I am changing GPU but you might want to explore this.

Also, because the next person is bound to ask, is your card flashed with Mac firmware? Shouldn't matter I don't think but gives the full picture...

I don't have the same screen problem but I've also found that bracket does put some tension on my GPU if I do both screws up so I only do one of the screws up properly.

If not screwed in, my GPU does look like it sits up higher than it should but only slightly.

I would check a few things like:
- is the GPU correctly powered? should be 2xmini 6pin to 1 8pin cable .
- the GPU fans should spin up during boot and stop (only with high Temp they spin)
- is the GPU card seated properly in the PCIe slot?
- you could test a different output of the card (HDMI / Displayport)
- you could test a different PCIe slot , so instead of slot1 , test it in slot 2
- is the GPU card flashed with a different ROM ?

EDIT: could you provide more information about the card e.g. brand, type etc ?

I tried it as soon as I got home, although the problem did not improve, thank you very much for providing your experience:D

Thank you very much for giving me directions. :)At present, the possibility that the problem lies in the graphics card is still relatively high. I tried to switch the output but still there is no response. There is no signal displayed on the screen. Whenever the screen goes black, the keyboard light cannot be switched. Obviously It was a crash. I was trying to extend the test on borrowing RX590 time from a friend. It took me a year to yesterday to find out that the brand on eBay is different from the brand I got. It comes from MSI:(

Your signature shows a RX580 GTS Black Edition which is a XFX card, but in the picture i see a MSI.
If I understood your post correctly you bought this card on eBay sold as XFX but you got a MSI.
So:

-The card could have been flashed with a different ROM , which causes the problem
-Lots of XFX cards are known for causing issues with Mac OS, so if this card is flashed with a XFX ROM, i assume this is the cause

MSI cards in general work fine with a Mac OS, so you could flash the original ROM on the card with a PC.

If that doesnt change anything, you could do a clean install of High Sierra or Mojave to find out if this problem is caused by a hardware or a software issue (just for testing on a clean and known working HDD/SSD).
Since you tested another GPU (RX590) , i Assume this GPU is the issue.

Make sure the GPU is powered correctly (all 6/8 pin connected on the GPU).

Yes, I didn't express it clearly. I checked the eBay purchase record because of a malfunction. The pictures and brands provided at that time were different from the actual ones. It took me more than a year to find out that the products were not authentic. In the past few days, I have used the RX590 used on my friend’s pc without any problems. As you said, the modified RX580 caused the crash.
