The Sims 2 WONT START!

I just bought The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff (for Mac) and it said the install was successful, but the GAME WON'T START! I also have The Sims 2 Pets and when I put that disk in it told me to re-install the Sims. SO THEN i re-installed ALL 3 games....and now they still won't start.

Can anyone tell me how to just start my game??

I appreciate the help, thank you in advance.
