The Sims 3 on a Macbook?

I have a MacBook that's a month away from being four years old. It's a 2 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GBs of memory. Do you think it'll run?

it will run, you just might need to set the graphics to lower settings

No chance unfortunately my friend. The game is simply too demanding. Hell, I can't even play on high settings with my late 2009 MacBook. I have to play on mostly low settings, with a few things set to medium and such. But yeah, I'm pretty sure it will run.

My wife plays The Sims 3 Ambitions every freaking night on her MacBook - 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo with 2GB of RAM. It runs perfectly fine on the machine.
