I converted a macOS programme for the iPhone. WOW!!! Is that slow? At first, I wondered if I was making a lot of disc accesses. However, as I began to examine, I realised I was just reading an offset from a binary file. Only roughly 512 bytes of data were read in. I also have a sizable array. perhaps 2MB. What makes that so sluggish, though? It can always be found in recollection.

I would adore hearing your suggestions!

Guaranteed some planned obsolescence going on with Apple. My XR has half space used on 128gb, I will have zero apps open in the background, refresh turned off, an 85% health battery, fully “updated l and it’s been running DOG SLOW for weeks.

And before anyone comes in and says, well you have a slower chip - that’s BS. As long as this phone is still approved by Apple to run the latest OS, it needs to continue to run smooth, not barely even get by!

Really tired of this. All my products are Apple, and every time an “update” is rolled out, it breaks something. Apple used to be able to get away with charging a premium because they were the kings of R&D, now they are just like everyone else and sometimes WORSE!
