Dear friends, does the 3.5 mm audio jack output of 14 MacBook Pro has same sound quality compared to 16? If we plug same headset to these models can we hear the same sound quality?

Note: I know the difference of speaker quality of 2 models but i especially wonder the 3.5 mm output

AFAIK apple has stepped up big time in the DAC for the m1 pro series and beyond, to the point where i no longer use my dedicated DAC, one of my AKG is very high impedance and my 14 inch has no problem driving it.

It's much improved from the M1 - I connect to bookshelf speakers using the 3.5mm and I couldn't get over the quality difference.

Is there difference between m2 14 pro and m2 16 pro?

I don't notice any difference between the 14 or the 16 M1 headphone amps. I have both. Sound quality and overall volume is identical. I no longer run an amp for my dynamic Sennheiser HD 650 which are over 300 ohms and my magnetic planar Hifiman Ananda which are super efficient at 25 ohms. I believe the amp is auto sensing and will detect the amount of power it needs so the drivers don't get blown.
