The tablet has no pen?

From the rumored specs it seems the tablet will not have a pen like most tablet PCs.

Does anybody know if the tablet will use any sort of pen input?

If not then I would be disappointed that the tablet is not aimed at artist.

Everything is a rumor until tomorrow. But if it doesn't come with a pen, there will be 3rd party ones you could get.

At a guess, and given Steve Job's dislike for the stylus, I think it's unlikely. But let's wait and see...

iPen will be out in winter of 2011.

They will introduce a special integrated version in late 2011 with the IS designation.

the iPen IS will come with the second edition iPads.

That comment was in relation to a phone. And modified iPhones/Touches are being used with capacative styluses at Apple stores. (Which may well get swapped out for tablets - we'll see).
