So I just installed the Lion GM today and was re-installing all my apps from SL. After setting up my Unarchiver preferences I noticed that it refuses to delete the archive after it unzips the contents. Can anyone confirm or deny whether this is a Lion incompatibility? Or is there something else going on?

Works for me with the version from the MAS

I don't get it. I uninstalled (with App Cleaner) and re-downloaded from the App Store, opened up the preferences, checked the option to move archives to trash, and it still refuses to delete them. I'm pretty much at a loss here.

I figured out what the problem was. It wouldn't delete archives because, for whatever reason, The Archiver wasn't actually replacing the built in Archive utility. I should have realized this right away judging by the stock "zip" icon, but oddly enough didn't make the connection. Anyway, it fixed itself when I selected every single file type association, even though all the main ones were already checked, it wouldn't work properly until they were all checked.
