To those looking forward to get one.
Do you think this is going to take away more of your productivity on your iPhone you think?

I notice that even though I have a MacBook Leo sitting next to me at home. I choose to still use my iPhone 3GS while running wifi on safari. Why? It just seems quicker due to the fact I get lazy and just use my fingers instead having to pull out the laptop. I was just thinking, when the tablet comes out is it going to be as fast as my MacBook pro? If I is then it'll probably take away more productivity of me using my iPhone.
Do you guys feel the same?

How is it not? I'm sorry...I never got into the whole "woo hoo tablet" thing...the iPhone is a mini computer is it not?

Yeah it is pretty much like a miniature computer. Well just the safari Browser part of it at least. It can get really deep and technical I suppose but I am assuming that the Tablet is going to be like a computer, smaller. With a touchscreen, which would take away the use of an iPhone for the internet and notes or dvd part and what not.
Pretty much would be useless to get the tablet except for Lectures or something.

I have to admit though the tablet would seem fun for lounging around fun.

That is true. But if it's running the iPhone OS how could it use the same apps? Aren't they made for the screen size?

If it's using the iPhone OS, then why would it not be able to run the same apps lol? It isn't even about screen size at this point that has nothing to do with running the same apps. I feel the tablet is just going to be an "extra" in the apple family. I'll stick to my iPhones and MacBooks for now. Until something makes me not really need either.

I won't be buying a tablet no matter what. I have a desktop when I need to sit down and do a lot of work. I have a laptop for when I need to do medium to heavy processing work on the go. I have an iPhone when I need to quickly look something up on the go. I think what I currently have is pretty much overkill. Plus it sounds like the tablet is just a bigger iPhone that is more powerful. Why would I want something bigger that doesn't have a keyboard and I can't carry it around as easily as my iPhone? I guess it would be "cool" for when your sitting on the couch and watching tv, but I'm sure Apple will charge an arm and a leg for it, making it extremely unreasonable.
