An iPhone, Apple Watch, HomePod, speaker, MacBook, and iPad all signed into the same Apple ID account. It is a far more streamlined experience using Spotify, as opposed to Apple Music.
If I start a song on my Apple Watch, I can see the progress of that song and skip/pause/etc from my phone - sometimes.
I have no way to interact with it from my MacBook, outside of third-party apps or workarounds.
Spotify, I can do all of that and even just log into web browser on a completely new device and immediately start controlling my library in real time.
I say all this after getting a HomePod about a week ago and leaving Spotify. Unfortunately, the user experience hasn’t improved since last I used Apple Music…
Does anybody have any tips or advice in this area?
