You really think you will get it faster than 3 days? Three days seems like an excellent time. I probably wouldn't expect it, but I really wouldn't except it faster. It's not like they gave you a large windows of 3-6 weeks. They said 3-6 days.DevilsRejection said:
I got mine 5 business days from the time it shipped, and, at the time, it had a 5-7 business day estimate. Once it ships, you can go to the carrier's website with the tracking number and be able to get a more accurate estimate. When I did that, I found out my iMac was arriving 2 days earlier than Apple's estimate.

gotta disagree with you on the Apple RAM "way overpriced" rant
to get to the same RAM configuration you could buy two 1GB sticks from Crucial which just quoted me $173.62 apiece or $347.24 for the two of them....Apple will configure the iMac with 2x1GB for $300 which is less than you just paid Crucial of course.......but going the 3rd party supplier route leaves you with a 512 RAM stick that came with the computer,let's say yolu spend your time and sell it for Crucial's list price of $81.47, well you wouldnt get list for "used" RAM but pretend you could, and you're at $265.77 for a comparable configuration, a difference of $34.23 if you have Apple install it
A whole lot of people would say $34.23 is an acceptable cost to pay for the convenience of having the RAM installed and covered under Apple's warranty.....I really don't think the "Ewwww (way overpriced)" comment reflects the reality of the situation
yeah yeah yeaqh.......I know there are people who LOVE to install their own RAM and I know there are people LOVE to spend their time shopping for the "cheapest ever!!!" RAM......but not everybody figures that's the best use of their time

Honestly, I would not worry about tracking it. I tracked mine via fedex and it said it was on the other side of the US and would be delivered on tuesday (was a friday) that day I came home from work and it was sitting on my desk as my wife put it there. Not sure if it was a trick apple pulled on me or what but it was a good one
I worry because I'm not home most of the day, and my dad, god bless him, can't hear the door bell all the time. I don't want to be playing the waiting game with the UPS guy if you catch my drift.
