I don't know if anyone remembers this old concept for a multitouch mac:
I was reminded of it immediately when I saw a few pictures of the iPad in Apple's folding case:
Now of course there are the arguments that the iPad doesn't run full OSX, etc. etc. but it's also just version 1. Imagine a few years down the line when the performance and software capabilities grow with the technology, and maybe throw in a wacom-style pen digitizer as well.
