So, on my iPad, anytime I try to type a location that starts with the letter B, maps crashes. It's so odd, I haven't tried a restore, but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this at any point. It is literally the only malfunction I've had with my iPad other than occasionally massive powerpoints not being loadable on goodreader. It doesn't even really bother me, it's just sooooooooo weird. I guess this probably doesn't need a whole new thread, but, still didn't know if anyone else had experienced this.

My maps program crashes in search as well. Sometimes I get two or three letters typed before it crashes. I tried a restore with no luck.
My temp solution is to:
1. search in Safari (Google) and click the map that shows up in the search results.
Or
2. Type the name in the Google search box, then copy, then open maps, then paste.
Any suggestions?

No solution at Apple discussions either. Not jail broken, not maxed out on apps. Happens on both 3G and Wifi. Did resets.
Guess I'll have to continue the Safari/Google Search workaround
