iPhone The worst JB ever? Issue After Issue with 9.3.3 JB

Hey guys I am convinced that this is the worst JB ever in the history of IOS JBs. My issues have been never ending.

Now today I reach for my phone and realize it is stuck in landscape mode and on the lockscreen refuses to slide up so I cannot enter my password. Ok fine so after about 10 minutes putting in the phone in various positions trying to get it in portrait mode. I reboot the phone thinking I would re-jailbreak using the pangu app. The pangu app refuses to open and so I hook my phone up to the computer and re-run for like the 15th time cydia impactor. I go to the pangu app and I hit start, it asks to lock the screen which I do BUT it doesn't give the notification about JB successful and to respring. Instead it resprings on its own and it is NOT jailbroken. I have been doing this a few times now hoping it will JB but nothing.

I see people talking about a blue pangu app, the pangu app I have been using is a white icon with a black apple with chinese characters inside the apple, below the apple is the word jailbreak. How can I get this blue pangu app?

Hi

In comparison I've had very little issue.

Two occasions where I've had to use the app to re JB which took seconds.

That's the Pangu App.

I used the JB via safari method.

If you perform a search in the JB hairdos you'll see tutorials to JB or look at idownloadblog
 
My cydia is gone how can i get it back again?

Launch the blue Pangu app.

Start the app m

Count 5 seconds.

Lock your screen.

You should then see a Pangu notification and your iPhone will respring.

Thanks for replying, I deleted the pangu app and ran cydia impactor again but the same pangu app keeps installing. Please see attached picture.

When I click start it tells me to lock the screen BUT when I lock the screen I do not get the notification "jailbreak successful, phone will respring". Instead, the phone resprings into non-JB mode.

I am so frustrated.

Now I have the pangu icon that you have bandofbrothers but still I cannot enter into JB mode.

Update 2: A lot of ppl on this site in the topic below are having similar issues. I followed one suggestion and went into airplane mode and rejailbroke using the black and white english pangu app now im jailbroken again. Thanks for the responses again.

I've jailbroken at least 8 iPhones on IOS 9.3.x with zero jailbreak related issues reported. It doesn't get much easier than this:

If you have not YET experienced any issues great for you. However, many people on reddit and other forums continue to experience multiple issues. I was on my 7.1.2 JB for years and experienced next to no issues when compared to this 9.3.3 JB. The JB seems very fikkle and it seems a variety of tweaks or gestures can cause the JB to act up.

I think the last iOS 5 jailbreak was probably easiest.

I did it about 4 or 5 times before realizing I was jailbroken the first time after finally spotting Cydia on my springboard.

I've used the original Pangu JB with the app. Some mornings I see my phone has rebooted and needs to be re-jailbroken. I hit the app, wait for about 15-20 sec then lock the phone. Sometimes it comes right back on and other times it takes about a minute or so and it's fine.

Having to spend a minute or less re-jailbreaking occasionally would seem like a dream come true compared to a truly tethered jailbreak requirig a computer to reboot, otherwise you would be stuck in the endless boot loop. Luckily, almost all of my jailbreaks have been completely untethered.

I also jailbreak all my 3 iOS devices and the jailbreak is one of the most stable JB I've seen so far. I've absolutely zero issues with all my jailbreak devices.
 
I too have jailbroken my 4 devices and have had zero issues, so for me this has been a very good and stable JB I used the chinese version that came out first.
 
Hey everyone, similar issue, I lent the phone to my mom to make a call. Got the phone back realized it was in a non-JB state. Went to both pangu apps they would not open. Re-JB using impactor and the black and white pangu app runs but when it restarts same non-JB state. I have been in a non-JB state for over a week now.

Any ideas? So tired of this. *Sighs*

EDIT: Deleted the pangu app as suggested elsewhere and tried to get it back through impactor but impactor is giving me the error

How about ditching Impactor and trying the Safari method posted above?

You should upgrade to iCleaner Pro (free upgrade) as you have iCleaner installed. You'd be surprised what iCleaner Pro can clean out of your device than the standard version!

For what it's worth, the 9.3.3 jailbreak was just about the most stable jailbreak I've ever had.

I've been jailbreaking since the first 74-step jailbreak came out. Every iPhone. I stand by my previous comment - no issues on the 9.3.3 jailbreak for me. And I've seen posts by countless others who love this jailbreak. I guess it's a matter of perspective.

Then you should know that just because so far you haven't experienced a problem but tons of other people online post about problems every single day with this 9.3.3 then you are the exception to the rule. Good, solid and most stable jailbreaks like you mentioned are judged by the millions of users JB and maintaining their JB without random problems like this one. So a statement such as yours hold no water.
This JB is very unreliable and unstable. Any day out of the blue you can get stuck with no options than restoring to the latest iOS version.

I can't accept that because I've seen a lot of posts (not here) by people who are very happy with this jailbreak. It's like the hundreds of people here who have hardware issues with their new phone, and the hundreds who have no issues. It's a no-win argument either way.

What? Cydia Eraser doesn't even work?

Do not just look here, there's posts all over many popular internet forums and Reddit is also loaded.
So Im not making it up for fun.
Cydia eraser only works if you can open cydia.
Most of the time you cant even rejailbreak your iphone in order to run cydia or any JB packages. To do that your phone needs to be in jailbroken state.
So glad you're ok so far but you could be one of those people posting that your JB stopped working all of a sudden and you cant JB it again.

I'm on 10.1 beta 3 with my new 7 Plus. :D

I still have my old 5s running it.

I've never had a jailbreak fail on me. Then again, I don't poke around the file system and delete files I shouldn't be deleting as a lot of people like to do. :D

Just my story. We can agree to disagree. :)

My point is that we probably don't see a lot of posts from people who are enjoying their 9.3.3 jailbreak. Peace.
