I wish the mods would at least tell me why they removed my thread which was about asking for a price estimate for selling my 12" PB. They said i didnt break any rules since i was asking for a price opinion.

Marketplace is one of the places you aren't allowed to post if you aren't a regular or better (100+ posts). If you've looked in there at all, getting feelers for prices usually lead to offers and sells or trades, so just because you want to find out how much it may be worth, it may lead to interest in a sale. Gotta prevent spammers and sales companies from coming in too much.

Check eBay and the like to get an idea for how much stuff is going for. That's a little bigger market that macrumors.com. :)

Its still here... its just waste-landed. If you were close to making a deal its against fourm rules for people with under 50 posts to sell on the fourms. If not read the rules they may explain it more. Or go to your thread in the wasteland and see if a demigod had something to say.

Edit: Dang for 2 reasons
You beat me to it
You actually got your facts straight

Thanks for the reply guys. The reason i was asking for a price estimate here is that i really dont trust ebay, but i understand your point as well so it's cool. Im just glad i found this forum cause it really makes me appreciate my Apple even more than before. I have decided that having an Apple computer is a must in this age of viruses and apyware/adware BS. I just use my custom built pc for gaming mostly. My goal is to have a 15" PB and an IBM thinkpad (t43) as that is one other notebook that i have a lot of respect for alongwith the Apple PB. :)

Well it's good to have you on board. Always good to see the community get bigger, which hopefully translates to being more vocal about what an Apple-lifestyle brings.

Yeah I don't know much, but I always here that IBMs are some of the best PCs. This Gateway we have here is such junk. I hate this thing! Hopefully I'll have an IBM or something similar someday as my Windows/Linux machine (at least until OS X officially takes over the world, haha). :D

I thought that things were fine, but apparently, I was in error. I'm not sure what's going on. I think I'll leave things alone for a while.

A lot more of the feeler-type threads asking about what to price stuff and what to trade for happening outside the marketplace now.

Yay... :(
