I need some advice from those out there that have experience with modding themes.

I've been working on a new modded theme for my 3Gs. Theme is shown below....

I'm trying to get rid of the "grayed-out" dock. It appears to be the dock from the previous theme I was using...Gee Theme Classic...but it won't go away. I remove the Gee Theme package from cydia...and the Gee Themes don't show up on my winterboard...but still no luck.

The iTransparent theme I'm now using has it's own dock but the Gee theme seems to be overriding it.

Is there a dock folder on the iPhone that overrides the theme dock?

Any clues on how to remove this?

Thanks...

Drag the theme you're using to the very top of the list in WinterBoard. It should override any other themes if it's at the top. If the Dock image is still not themed after that, the theme either has no Dock image, or it's not propery labeled and is being incorrectly themed.

I believe there should be a theme in Winterboard called "Transparent Dock." Check it, and drag that to the top of the list.

Thanks for the response...

I have placed the iTransparent theme at the top of Winterboard. Didn't get rid of the old dock...plus the clock was appearing (I'm using a clock widget). So I moved the clock widget above iTransparent and now I'm getting the clock with the iTransparent theme but the dock appears to be from the Gee theme I removed. It's now the transparent theme dock.

Ok...moved the "Transparent Dock" to the top and checked it...resprung...and no luck. Still the old dock!

Any other ideas?

SSH into the themes directory and delete the dock images from themes you don't want them on.
Once i got to this stage of customising my theme though i just went in and created my own.

I appreciate the suggestions...but still no luck. I went through all the themes in my "/Library" folder on my iPhone and deleted two "dock.png" files (both associated with the clock widget)...and I still can't get rid of this old dock!

This is driving me crazy. I need to hire a forensic iPhone detective!

Just hoping someone might have some further suggests today.

I've downloaded and installed several other themes...checking and placing them at the top of my winterboard...and the old dock is still there?

This is very strange. There has to be a reason why I can't get rid of this dock. This "dock.png" is somewhere on my iPhone. As far as I know I've deletd every dock.png file I could find in the "Library/Theme" folder...and I can't get rid of the old dock.

Anyone know of any other folders that this b$st$rd might be in?

Thanks....
