iPad Pro There are a lot of ways I've seen people selling fake iPads online, but this is the worst.

Interesting catch. That's why I purchase from reputable sellers/online stores to avoid this type of fraud.

The "seiral" number is invalid (obviously). That's also not the way Apple boxes are laid out as far as I know.
The thing that caught me was the "New" designation on the second (or third... fourth?) layered sticker that looks like it's being removed.
I heard someone sold an 'iPad box' on ebay, and some fool won the bid and paid over $400 for it, and got an 'iPad Box'. An empty iPad box. Just what the seller said it was. An empty iPad box. No fraud there, but...
Yeah - I peruse ebay from time to time and there are some what appear to be good buys. But something always stops me. Even power sellers with great feedback.... I can never pull the trigger.
And Amazon is getting bad too. I keep hearing of people having issues with private sellers on Amazon. Getting refunds/returns isn't as easy as it should/could be too in those cases. And Craig's List? I tried to sell something there, and a guy stopped over and checked it out, loved it, then came back and ripped me up and down for the price, as if the earlier meeting never happened. Veins popping out, and just in a rage. NEVER AGAIN! The guy was obviously having some kind of mental crisis. Another incident a young kid stopped by to check out a motorcycle and wanted to buy it right then, but wanted his dad to check it out. Dad shows up, calls me a liar, and says there is no way that is worth half what I'm asking for it. Total ass. Walks, dragging son in his wake. Week goes buy, son calls me and wants to buy it, for less, I laugh, tell him his dad's an ass, and hang up.
Be careful out there...
