Okay, that is probably something only I find interesting, but I just looked at all the photos and additionally at the AR version of the AirPods Max and there's not a single Apple logo to be found on them. At least I didn't see it anywhere.

It's not completely unheard of. Just looked at my Apple Watch and there's only one on the back where it says “ WATCH“. But still.

Very different to the early mock-ups with their ginormous Apple logos on both sides :D

There are no Apple logos on any of the AirPods.

There's plenty of space on the AirPods and their case for a logo if Apple really wanted one there.

Okay, sure. So Apple doesn't have its logo on any of its AirPods. Whatever. Still the same point :) Especially because these AirPods Max would have more than enough space and otherwise it is on everything.

Apple is probably expecting their industrial design to showcase who made them.

Same with the original AirPods once they started becoming ubiquitous.

Exactly. They are so unique in their look that people will recognize them anyway. And that's one of the strengths of Apple's design: They often come up with a design that is memorable and different. In many cases you just need very few lines to draw the product.

That doesn't mean that everyone has to like it :D But they are good at iconic designs.

Good observation. They certainly made a conscious choice - there is plenty of room for the Apple logo, but the clean and minimalist design is considerably more elegant without any logo at all. It is a bold move, in a sense.

Beats earphones and headphones all have the 'b' logo prominent. My Sony headphones have 'Sony' on each earpiece.

I like it, now that it's been pointed out.

This proves that the notch is not necessary for branding!

Not sure how this proofs that. More like the opposite.
The notch makes the iPhone recognizable from the front, because the Apple Logo is only on the back (and likely hidden by an ugly case)

I feel like Apple made these a bit strange looking on purpose, so they are instantly recognizable, just like the notch.
I got used to the notch... lets see if i can get used to these over time...

There is no apple logo visible on the Apple watch either, but people definitely recognize it.

I don't think they're that strange looking. They look similar to high-end luxury headphones like B&O, Masters & Dynamic, and Bowers & Wilkins, but they will be very recognizable even without the Apple logo.

It’s only bad mockups from graphic designer wannabes that throw Apple logos on everything.

Based on this instagram post from an Apple designer it sounds like this was something Jony Ive was involved with.

I like that the earpieces seem thinner. The Sony XM3 at least, was big and wide, looked clownish.

If Apple made two versions. The current plain one and a version with a glowing Apple logo smack dab in the middle like the old MacBooks, I wonder which would sell more?

Entirely different product with an entirely different design.

I think an iPhone would be hard to distinguish from other phones in a case.
The only giveaway would be the rear camera arrangement, and I don’t know if that’s distinct enough over a Samsung.
