iPhone There still no way to listen to voice mail in the background?

So many times I have loved to just pop open notes and type a number down that I’m quoted but instead I have to result to old fashioned pen and paper, madness!!

Seriously though, am I just missing something here?

I'm not using the onboard VM so I can't exactly test. Have you tried all the avenues? Going to Notes via Control Center, Notes widget in "Today" view, etc.

I'm interested to see if this is possible. Seems like a no brainer. I'd use it often.
