The good news is there are a couple of faster XEONs in that same family!
That means there's potential for more new mac pros with the same ram speed PCI speed, USB speed and SATA 2!

I realize many of you operating a business need a road map to plan your purchases so I figured I'd help out.

All New Mac Pro 3.33 GHz in 2014
All New Mac Pro 3.47 HGzin 2016!
Not sure yet about 2018.

Well that makes all the difference in the world. Why didn't you say something sooner. .... Wait a minute.....just .....a......minute. They removed the new tag from the store on the Mac Pro. It was new for one day! That's it I'm done. Cut, print , moving on.

2018: 4GHz! Still Westmere and USB2 though. Maybe they'll put an Apple Desktop Bus port as a bonus feature too!

I was talking to someone in Apple today, and heard a little whisper about whats they are considering including the next Mac Pro refresh but it wasn't ready for yesterdays refresh, a 3.5" floppy diskette drive, must be one of those new things from Tiawan ehh?
