Over the last few years I feel like there’ve been various nitpicky “issues” for some people with iPhone construction. Unless you lucked out and got a perfect unit, there were complaints about gaps between the screen and steel band, being able to see random parts of the phone in those gaps (I had this with a few 13 Pro Max devices), display uniformity criticisms, etc.

So far it seems like Apple knocked it out of the park with the 15 series. The tolerances are basically perfect; no gaps or super minor aesthetic things to get OCD over. The same can be said of the 15 and 15 Plus.

Unless someone has found something… 😂

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6 Plus - no build complaints. All solid and look/work just fine.

Despite there being a few devices every year with issues, which is unfortunate, I’ve been lucky in that every single device I’ve bought direct from Apple since the 3G has been flawless.

But I’ve always been a believer in the old saying “you get what you pay for”.
